Spanning more than 140 years of excellence in all-girls’ education, The Agnes Irwin School fosters the intellectual and personal growth of girls and young women, preparing each student to lead and to enrich the world. The nearly 700 girls in our Prekindergarten through 12th grade come from 75 ZIP codes as well as other countries to bring a diversity of perspectives to our community.

Agnes Irwin combines up-to-date educational thinking and practice with traditional values, inspiring each student to reach her fullest potential in intellect and character while leading a healthy, balanced life. Girls are encouraged to try everything and become anything, whether achieving new heights in the science classroom, competing successfully on the soccer field, or taking center stage in the Fall Musical. Our students take on the world with the confidence to ask “Why?” and the boldness to say, “Why not!”
